Özgür Ülker is currently the Optimization and Data Science Senior Unit Leader at DFDS, where they focus on advancing data-driven optimization strategies. Previously, they led optimization initiatives at Logiverse Technology and Ekol Logistics, applying meta-heuristics and mathematical programming to improve logistics operations. Özgür completed a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Nottingham, having also earned multiple master’s degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Their research has significantly contributed to solving complex optimization problems in transportation and logistics.
