Rhys Herd

Rhys Herd is a qualified Master Mariner Unlimited and currently serves as Chief Officer at DFDS. With a strong background in navigating large passenger vessels, submarine telecommunication repair vessels, and small cargo vessels, they have cultivated essential skills in safety and management. Rhys completed a BSc Honours degree in Marine Operations Management from Warsash Maritime Academy and gained valuable experience as a Third Officer at Carnival UK. Their career also includes roles as Second Officer and Deck Officer Cadet, showcasing adaptability and proficiency in high-pressure environments.
