Richard Stone

Richard Stone is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry. Currently, Richard serves as the Head of Field Sales for DFDS, managing a team focused on optimizing B2B sales across passenger routes. In addition, Richard contributes to the Nordic Tourism Collective as a member of the Executive Committee, promoting sustainable tourism in the Nordic and Baltic regions. Previous roles include Director of International Contracted Leisure Sales at Scandic Hotels, where Richard led sales for nearly 280 hotels, and Business Development/Purchasing Director at Borealis Destination Management. Richard's career also includes significant positions at Tumlare Corporation and GTA, underscoring a strong background in contract management and purchasing. Richard holds a Bachelor's degree in Italian and International Studies from the University of Warwick.
