Ryan Doohan

Ryan Doohan is a maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles aboard vessels, currently serving as a 2nd Officer at DFDS since May 2021. Prior roles include a 2nd Officer with Arklow Shipping AS, where responsibilities involved maintaining a navigational watch and managing dry bulk cargo operations. Having previously worked at Clyde Marine Recruitment, Thames Clippers, and Gardline Limited, Ryan has developed a solid foundation in maritime operations and safety, including hands-on experience with various survey vessels and dynamic positioning systems. Ryan holds a Foundation Degree in Navigation and Maritime Science from the University of Plymouth and has a diverse background, including earlier roles in transportation and leisure services.
