Steve Garner has extensive experience in customer service management within the maritime industry, currently serving as the Head of Customer Experience at DFDS since May 2005. In this role, Steve is dedicated to enhancing guest experiences from arrival at the port terminal to disembarkation, while fostering continuous improvement to set DFDS apart from competitors. Previous positions at DFDS include Contact Centre Manager for UK & Europe, where Steve ensured a seamless customer journey through various contact channels, and Passenger Services Supervisor, overseeing daily operations of the contact centre. Prior to joining DFDS, Steve held roles at Hoverspeed, including Port Customer Services Director and Port Senior Customer Service Agent, and began a career at Swansea Cork Ferries as a Port Services & Reservations Advisor. Steve's educational background includes attendance at Olchfa Comprehensive School from 1995 to 1999.
