Björn Assmann

Björn Assmann is a Staff Research Scientist at DFINITY, focusing on tokenomics and governance of the Internet Computer blockchain. They have been a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Zurich since 2021, teaching stress testing within the Master's program of Quantitative Finance. Previously, Björn held various positions in the financial sector, including Project Manager in Crisis Management at UBS and Head of Collateral Methodology at Credit Suisse, where they led quantitative teams in risk modeling and stress testing. Björn earned a Maitrise des Mathématiques pures from Université de Paris and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of St Andrews.
