William Morrison

William Morrison is a Principal at DFJ Growth, beginning in September 2024, with a focus on AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, space, robotics, defense, and intelligence. Previously, William held the role of Principal at In-Q-Tel from August 2021 to August 2024, specializing in cybersecurity, space, and AI. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Associate in Technology Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs from July 2018 to June 2021, working with clients such as SpaceX, Palantir, and Rivian, and focusing on mobility, spacetech, artificial intelligence, defense and intelligence, and climate tech. Additionally, William was an Investment Team Intern at Breakthrough Energy Ventures within Bill Gates' cleantech venture fund in late 2017 and served as Senior Project Lead at ExxonMobil from March 2013 to July 2016. William holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Economics from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
