Songbo Li

Songbo Li is an experienced technology and venture capital professional with a diverse background in leadership and innovation. Since December 2012, Songbo Li has served as an Advisor at MAANA and has been a Founding Partner at DFJ Compass since December 2009, contributing to the establishment of the first RMB fund in the DFJ Network. Li is also a Limited Partner of the SINA Weibo Fund, supporting developers within the Weibo open platform, and has held the title of Venture Partner at Draper Fisher Jurvetson since April 2008, collaborating with entrepreneurs on innovative products and disruptive technologies. Previously, as CTO of SINA from April 1996 to November 2009, Songbo Li was responsible for product strategy and technology evaluation, while earlier roles included Engineer Manager at Sina US and Director of Network Infrastructure at Stone RighSight. Songbo Li holds an MBA from the China Europe International Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Beijing University of Technology.
