Arka Sinha is a software engineer at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), where responsibilities include research in object detection using machine learning for educational applications. Prior to this role, Arka served as a research assistant at DFHKI and worked on document analysis in addition to completing a master's thesis on object recognition with deep neural networks at the University of Kaiserslautern. Previously, Arka gained experience in the field of cognitive psychology as a research assistant and worked with Cognizant on various projects, including a major upgrade for Metlife's reporting tools. Arka holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Institute of Engineering & Management.
