Dr. Simon Pukrop

Dr. Simon Pukrop is a Senior Engineer at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), where since July 2023, Dr. Simon has taken on the role of Project Lead for CITAH. Prior to this position, Dr. Pukrop was a Researcher and PhD Student at Universität Paderborn from August 2019 to June 2023, focusing on optimization problems and complexity theory in addition to teaching theoretical computer science. From October 2014 to March 2018, Dr. Simon served as a Research Assistant with a concentration in algorithmic game theory and also worked as a Tutor for several university courses. Dr. Pukrop earned a Doctorate in Informatik from Paderborn University in June 2023, following a Master of Science in Informatik (2019) and a Bachelor of Science in Informatik (2017) from the same institution.
