Georg Rehm

Georg Rehm is a prominent figure in the field of artificial intelligence and computational linguistics, currently serving as Deputy Director at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) in Berlin, where involvement spans from February 2010 to the present. Rehm holds the position of Professor at Humboldt University of Berlin since April 2021 and leads the German/Austrian Office of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) since October 2013. Previous roles include Head of Research and Artificial Intelligence at Field 33 and Product Manager for Language Technology at vionto GmbH, where significant contributions to language and search technology were made. Rehm's research career initiated at the University of Giessen and continued through various positions, including Senior Researcher at the University of Tuebingen. Rehm earned a PhD in Computational Linguistics from Justus Liebig University Giessen, after completing a Master's degree in the same field at Universität Osnabrück.
