Martin Atzmueller

Martin Atzmueller is a Full Professor at Universität Osnabrück and the Scientific Director at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), specializing in complex data, explainable artificial intelligence, and integrative AI systems. They held positions as a Visiting Professor at Université Sorbonne Paris Cité and as an Assistant and Associate Professor at Tilburg University. Previously, Martin worked as a Project Director and Senior Researcher at the University of Kassel, where they led the Ubiquitous Data Mining Research Group. Their academic background includes a Ph.D. from Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and a Habilitation from Universität Kassel.
