Michael Lorenz is a researcher at the Augmented Vision Group of the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since June 2019. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a researcher at the AG wearHEALTH at the University of Kaiserslautern from February 2017 to October 2019. Michael possesses a Master's Degree in Engineering Science from Technische Universität Berlin (2013-2016), a Master’s degree project in Automatic Control from Linköping University (2016), and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tomsk Polytechnic University (2013-2015). Additionally, Michael earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Transport Systems from Technische Universität Berlin (2010-2013) and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD Dr. Ing.) in Sensor Fusion at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, expected to complete in July 2024.
