Sirko Straube is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and human-machine interaction. Currently serving as Forschungsbereichsmanager and Projektkoordinator at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since April 2014, Sirko has contributed significantly to various projects involving human-machine interaction and the further qualification of companies. Prior to this role, Sirko held the position of Projektleiter und Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Universität Bremen from April 2010 to March 2014. In addition, Sirko was a Postdoctoral Scientist at Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, focusing on the modeling of retinal networks. Sirko's educational background includes a Dr. rer. nat. in Biology and Neurosciences from the University of Bremen and a Diplom-Biologe from The University of Freiburg.
