Tim Polzehl is a seasoned researcher and leader in the field of artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Senior Researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz since August 2021, where Tim heads the Speech group. Tim has held the position of Senior Scientist at Technische Universität Berlin since January 2014, leading the "Next Generation Crowdsourcing" group and focusing on speech processing, text mining, and machine learning. In addition to these roles, Tim is the project lead for the EIT Digital initiative ERICS, improving communication for refugees in the EU, and oversees projects concerning privacy and security in crowdsourcing. As CEO of Crowdee GmbH since December 2015, Tim champions next-generation crowdsourcing solutions. Tim's career also includes experience as a project manager at Telekom Innovation Laboratories and an academic background culminating in a PhD in Computer Science from Technische Universität Berlin.
