Verena Wolf

Verena Wolf has worked as a Scientific Director at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since 2023. Prior to this role, they held the position of Associate Professor at Saarland University in Saarbruecken starting from 2012.

Verena Wolf began their education in 1998 at The University of Bonn, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. Verena completed their Diplom program in 2003. Following this, they attended the University of Mannheim from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science. In 2008, Verena Wolf enrolled in a Post-Doc program at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in the field of Computer Science, which they completed in 2009. Finally, from 2009 to 2012, Verena Wolf served as a Junior Group Leader at the Universität des Saarlandes, specializing in Computer Science.
