Aisha Emara is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial markets and regulatory strategy. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) since September 2018, Aisha has progressed through various roles including Manager and Associate Manager in the Markets department. Aisha's expertise is further showcased through a forthcoming position as Policy Advisor at the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), which involves leading initiatives related to global capital markets and financial infrastructures. Previous roles include Registrar of Companies at the DIFC Authority and Audit Intern at Grant Thornton - UAE. Aisha holds an MSc in Investment and Risk Finance from the University of Westminster, a Global Certificates Program for Regulators of Securities Markets from Harvard Law School, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the American University of Sharjah.
