Mark Steward

Mark Steward is a Chief Executive and lawyer specializing in corporate, financial services, and securities law and regulation, with global experience at the most senior levels across multiple jurisdictions. They served as an Executive Director at the Financial Conduct Authority and held the position of Executive Director and Board Member at the Securities and Futures Commission, where they spearheaded enforcement efforts in Hong Kong during the 2008 financial crisis. Currently, Mark is the Chief Executive of the Dubai Financial Services Authority and a member of the Advisory Committee for the Australian Law Reform Commission's review of financial services regulation. They hold a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.
