Michaela Dempsey

Michaela Dempsey has extensive experience in youth services and community support, currently serving as a Prevention Specialist and Team Lead at Directions for Youth & Families since September 2017, where group activities are facilitated to enhance the social, emotional, and behavioral skills of youth aged 8-18. Prior roles include providing counseling and case management as a Community Support Provider at Huckleberry House, and supportive services for young adults in transitional housing. Michaela's background also encompasses teaching college preparatory classes for economically disadvantaged high school students with College Forward as an Access Coach and various positions in customer service and support in earlier employment. Michaela holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Ohio University.
