Peter Sopher

Peter Sopher currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Board Observer at DG Matrix since December 2024. Sopher is a Venture Partner and Investment Partner at Clean Energy Ventures, where involvement has continued since June 2019, previously holding roles as Principal and Senior Associate. In addition, Sopher is a Board Director at Queens Carbon and Bodhi®, and serves as a Board Director and Board Observer at Ndustrial and Hertha Metals Inc., respectively. Sopher co-founded SimCap VC in January 2024, and previously served as a Board Observer for ClearFlame Engine Technologies, ClearTrace, and Volexion. Educational qualifications include an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University, and dual Master's degrees in Business Administration and Public Administration from The Wharton School and Harvard Kennedy School, respectively.
