DG Speaks is a digital media platform created for people who believe stories can shift culture, open minds, and move communities forward.

Founded by Mercedes Diane Griffin Forbes, DG Speaks explores food, travel, culture, wellness, film, technology, and global issues through a personal, thoughtful, and often bold lens. Our work centers diverse voices, especially women, people of color, creatives, changemakers, and communities often left out of mainstream conversations.

At DG Speaks, we believe storytelling is more than content. It is connection. It is culture work. It is a way to speak truth, celebrate beauty, question systems, and imagine freer ways to live.

Through articles, reviews, interviews, essays, media coverage, and cultural commentary, DG Speaks invites readers to live out loud, have their say, and engage the world with curiosity, courage, and joy.
