Carl Conti

Carl Conti, PhD, is a materials chemist specializing in nanomaterials, semiconductors, and materials characterization. They are currently a Senior Materials Scientist at D&G Solutions, supporting the DLA’s Strategic Materials R&D and managing projects focused on domestic manufacturing for rare earth and hypersonic materials. Carl has held positions as a Laboratory Technician at XG Sciences and a Research Assistant at Florida State University, where they completed a dissertation on localized surface plasmon resonances in semiconductor nanocrystals. Carl earned a PhD and an MS in Materials Chemistry from Florida State University and a BS in Chemistry from Michigan State University.
