Jared Nelson

Jared Nelson is an Associate Partner at DGA Group, where they leverage over 13 years of experience in crisis and issues management to assist clients in safeguarding their businesses and reputations. Previously, Jared served as Senior Vice President at Edelman, where they led the Crisis & Risk practice for the Central U.S. region and managed a team of crisis communications professionals. Jared has developed numerous crisis communications plans and facilitated over 100 crisis simulation exercises for senior leadership teams. They graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in journalism and political science and currently serve on the Board for Off the Street Club, supporting youth in Chicago's west side.
