The Digital Goods & Assets Association (DGAA) is a European industry association headquartered in Lucerne, Switzerland. The association brings together marketplaces, companies, and stakeholders operating in the digital goods space.

Digital goods markets exist across many industries. The gaming sector, in particular, has provided large-scale, marketplace-based use cases that have shaped practical experience with digital goods, platform responsibility, and virtual economies. These insights strongly informed the foundation of the DGAA and highlighted the need for shared standards, regulatory clarity, and structured industry collaboration.

The DGAA addresses these challenges through collective action. As an independent association, we connect industry participants, legal experts, and policymakers to develop shared standards, engage in constructive regulatory dialogue, and promote transparent, innovation-friendly frameworks.

The association’s scope spans the full spectrum of digital goods and assets, including gaming-related digital goods, marketplace-based business models, and emerging digital asset classes across industries.
