Rahima Essop

Rahima Essop is a multi-disciplinary, award-winning broadcast journalist and communications specialist based in Cape Town. Currently, Rahima drives a national communications and advocacy campaign aimed at reducing school dropout rates in South Africa. With a Master's Degree in Social Anthropology of Development and another in Journalism, Rahima has over a decade of reporting experience, including roles as a broadcast journalist and parliamentary correspondent. They are committed to fostering collaborative spaces to share knowledge and build partnerships that drive positive social change.
