Dr. Stephan Anders is a trained architect and urban planner with expertise in sustainable cities. They served as a lecturer at the Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart focusing on "Energy & Cities" and "Planning & Building Processes" from 2015 to 2022. Dr. Anders completed a PhD thesis on the "City as a system" and was an assistant professor at the University of Stuttgart, managing research projects and courses on sustainable urban design. Currently, they are the Director of Network & Consulting at the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), where they lead strategy consulting and the development of sustainable practices for municipalities and companies.
