Simone Pitzal

Simone Pitzal is an experienced event coordinator with a strong background in marketing and project management. Currently working at the DGNB German Sustainable Building Council since August 2019, Simone has been responsible for the conception, planning, and execution of various events, including trade fairs and conferences. Previous roles include project management at Fundação Lafaek Diak in Timor Leste, head of marketing at the Health and Safety Executive, and strategic communications management at DWP. Simone also has experience in leading tourism initiatives in both the East Midlands and Schwäbisch Gmünd, focusing on regional development and marketing strategies. Simone holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a diploma in Economics and Destination Management from Berufsakademie Ravensburg.
