Our output is exclusive, trusted and connects communities across the county with the things that matter. Our products reach audiences across the world.

We have held interviews with the likes of Olympic Athlete Adam Gemili, BBC Oceanographer Helen Czerski, YouTuber Blue Van Man and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson MP.

We have been successful at the annual Shine School Media Awards, having won a total of six shortlisted nominations at their awards ceremony, with two 'Highly Commended' awards in Best Podcast and Best Cartoon.

Our journalists are all highly skilled, having participated in the annual BBC News School Report scheme with past members having wrote for the News Shopper Young Reporter scheme and collecting awards for journalistic tenacity.
