Stephen Davies has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Stephen is currently serving as a Principal Consultant at Parkside Consulting since February 2021. In their earlier career, Stephen Davies served as a Chief Technology Officer at OptiComm Ltd from November 2008 to November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Titan ICT from September 2004 to October 2008. Stephen also held the position of Acting CTO at Silk Telecom Pty Ltd in 2007.

Before their involvement in OptiComm Ltd, Stephen Davies served as the Chief Network Architect at Bright Telecommunications from September 2001 to September 2004. Stephen also worked as the Manager of Technology at Amcom from March 2000 to August 2001.

Stephen Davies has a diverse education history. In 2001, they attended Murdoch University and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Telecommunications Management. The following year, they continued their studies at Murdoch University and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Systems Networking. In 2002-2003, Stephen pursued a Master of Business Administration at Murdoch University.

Recently, in 2020-2021, Stephen enrolled in the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Stephen also completed a Combined Intruder Alarm and CCTV Course in 2021 at Comtech Training, specializing in Security System Installation, Repair, and Inspection Technology.

In 2021-2022, Stephen pursued a Master of Business Law at Southern Cross University, focusing on the field of Business. Looking to the future, they plan to obtain a Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification from ISC2 in 2023, with a specialization in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.

Aside from their formal education, Stephen has obtained various certifications. Stephen became a Full Member of the Institute of Community Directors Australia, the Australian Information Security Association (AISA), and the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2020. Stephen is also an Associate Member of AustCyber - The Australian Cyber Security Growth Network Ltd. Additionally, Stephen holds certifications as a Certified Project Manager from the Project Management Institute, a Certified Security Administrator from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd., a Cisco Certified Network Professional from Cisco, and a Unix Certified Engineer from SCO.
