DH Business Services was established by Derek Hume in 1986 as a cash register rental business.

In 2006 Allen Hume took over the day to day running of DH Business Services. As the Business quickly increased DH Business Services obtained a dedicated team of Engineers and Specialists to assist and support customers. A new range of Touch Screen EPoS Systems were introduced from suppliers including ICRTouch, Quorion, Digi and YumaPOS, and hardware from Sumni, OKPOS, SAM4s, Quorion, CAS and Digi. DH Business Services specialise in cashless systems, customer loyalty systems, scanning systems, biometric systems, stock control solutions, cloud based back office, cloud based EPoS, mobile ordering apps, web store based ordering and weighing scales. 
In 2008 the business obtained additional premises with a purpose built showroom, store and training facility in Enkalon Business Park Antrim.

The Comber & Antrim based company now supply cash registers, touchscreen systems, networked EPoS systems, wireless systems, cashless systems, tailor-made systems at a budget to suit any business on either a rent, buy or lease basis. Office furniture and stationery is also available at both business locations, with trade prices available and same day delivery.
