Barbara Key is an experienced professional in housing and case management, currently serving as a Leasing Professional I at the Dallas Housing Authority since June 2013, where responsibilities include client interaction, data collection, and eligibility determination. Previously, Barbara worked as a Case Manager at the Housing Authority of New Orleans from June 2012 to June 2013, assisting tenants with eligibility and documentation related to the HCVP/Section 8 program. Additional roles include serving as a Disaster Inspector for FEMA and Case Manager positions for disaster recovery initiatives. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in American Government and Politics, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government, and an Associate degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from institutions including The University of Texas at Dallas and El Centro College.

DHA is the 8th largest Housing Choice Voucher program in the nation and the 10th largest public housing agency in the nation.
