Jacob Berg

Jacob Berg is a seasoned professional in the field of offshore wind engineering, currently serving as Vice President at DHI since January 2020, where Jacob also holds positions as Director for Offshore Wind - Metocean and Head of Department. Additionally, Jacob serves as an External Examinator for BSc and MSc programs in wind energy engineering and related fields at CensorNet. Prior experience includes a role as Associate Professor at DTU Wind Energy from 2012 to 2020, focusing on turbulence theory and atmospheric boundary layer theory, among other areas. Jacob has contributed as a Senior Scientist at Risø National Laboratory and has held various research positions, including Visiting Scientist roles at the National Center for Atmospheric Research and Cornell University. A Ph.D. graduate in Physics and Geophysics from the University of Copenhagen, Jacob's extensive research background emphasizes experimental turbulence and data analysis.
