Liz Major

Liz Major is a highly skilled groundwater modeler and decision support system developer at DHI since September 2018, specializing in hydrologic consulting for mining projects. Prior experience includes a role as a hydrogeologist and numerical modeller at Golder Associates from January 2011 to September 2018, where involvement spanned all phases of hydrogeological analyses, from data collation to recommendations. Liz Major also served as a graduate student at the Colorado School of Mines from August 2008 to January 2011, focusing on hydrology and conducting research on transport theories. Earlier career experiences include positions as a climbing instructor, cryptanalyst at the National Security Agency, and software developer at Avaya. Liz Major holds a Master of Science in Hydrology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science, both from the Colorado School of Mines.
