Michael Meadows is a PhD Scholar at Natural Hazards Research Australia, focusing on improving flood modelling through the correction of vertical errors in global Digital Elevation Models. Concurrently, Michael is a PhD Student in Geospatial Sciences at RMIT University, researching the application of remote-sensing data and machine learning in disaster risk reduction, particularly in low-income regions. As a Senior Consultant and Water Resources Engineer at DHI, Michael specializes in flood forecasting and early warning systems in New Zealand and supports Bhutan's Department of Disaster Management.
