Michael Potthoff

Michael Potthoff is a Senior Software Engineer at DHI since 2008, specializing in the maintenance of the ecological modelling core "ECOLab" and providing training and support. Prior experience includes a role as a Consultant in Ecological Modelling at Dhi-wasy in Bremen (2007-2008) and several research positions as a Research Scientist at the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research (2000-2006) and as a Guest Researcher at UFZ (2002-2003). Additionally, Michael served as a member of the scientific staff at the University of Münster in 2002. Michael holds a Dr.rer.net in Biology from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg (2002-2006) and a Diplom in Biology from the University of Münster (1998-2001), along with further education at Paderborn University (1993-1994) and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (1996-1998).
