Michaela Nilsson has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Michaela currently holds the position of Vice President - Data & Analytics at DHI, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, from January 2018 to April 2023, they served as the Head of Advanced Analytics & Data Governance at E.ON. Within E.ON, they also worked as a Project Manager - Strategy & Business Development in 2017 and as the Head of Smart Meter Data Analytics from 2015 to 2016. Before joining E.ON, from May 2013 to July 2015, Michaela worked as a Project Manager - Project Development & M&A at Eneva, focusing on renewable energy projects in Brazil. Michaela began their career as part of the International Graduate Talent Program at E.ON, undertaking various assignments related to strategy, communication, and assessment of new start-ups in the energy sector between September 2011 and March 2013. Additionally, they gained experience as a Master Thesis researcher at Sweco Architects in 2011, and as an Assistant Foreman at NCC from 2008 to 2011. Michaela also briefly worked as an Analyst at Azzollini Construcciones in 2009.
Michaela Nilsson completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 2006 and 2011. In 2009-2010, they also studied Civil Engineering & Architecture at Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires'. In 2005-2006, they pursued Economics at Stockholm University.
