Philippe de Bourgoing

Philippe de Bourgoing is an Engineer in Hydrology and River Hydraulics at DHI since February 2023, focusing on hydrological and hydraulic modeling for flood management and water supply optimization in France. Previously, Philippe managed the SALAM Initiative at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, collaborating with researchers from Germany, Jordan, Palestine, and Israel on water deficit analysis. Additional experience includes an internship at Deltares, where sediment dynamics were tested, and various roles in environmental projects at EOLFI, the University of Tehran, and Communauté Paris-Saclay. Philippe holds an Engineering Degree in Environmental Engineering from AgroParisTech, a Master's in Environmental Science and Policy from Sorbonne Université and Sciences Po, and has participated in the EIT Climate-KIC Master Label Programme.
