Ryan Sanford

Ryan Sanford, PE, is a Senior Wastewater Process Engineer at DHI, specializing in wastewater treatment process modeling, optimization, and real-time controls development, with a focus on urban water approaches, collection system modeling, and energy recovery from sewage. Additionally, Ryan serves as a Board Member for the Leadville Sanitation District. Prior experience includes roles as a Process Engineer at Shell, where Ryan supported utility systems, implemented significant upgrades in water treatment processes, and coordinated environmental and safety engineering efforts. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
