Verena Schrameyer

Verena Schrameyer, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Marine Ecologist at DHI, a position held since May 2021. Prior to this, Verena worked as an Environmental Consultant at VS EcoSolutions and an IB Biology Teacher at Birkerød Gymnasium. Verena has significant postdoctoral experience, including a Marie-Curie Individual Fellowship at Københavns Universitet, where an impact assessment of environmental plastic pollution was conducted at Macquarie University. Academic contributions also include involvement with seagrass monitoring at UTS and extensive research during the PhD program focused on marine ecophysiology. Educational qualifications include a PhD from the University of Technology, Sydney, and a Master's degree from the University of Bremen.
