Hazel Walsh began their work experience in 2004 as an Accounts Manager at the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association, where they handled monthly payroll, statutory returns, payroll reports, and accounts payable and receivable. From 2007 to 2013, they worked as an Accounts & Payroll Administrator at Sweeney Oil Service Stations, responsible for weekly payroll using Micropay and handling statutory returns and payroll reports. Since 2013, Hazel has been employed at DHKN, starting as a Senior Payroll Specialist and later becoming the Head of Payroll Services. Their responsibilities at DHKN include processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll, both for Irish and UK payroll, and managing over 100 clients.
Hazel Walsh completed their Certificate in Information Technology at Dublin City University from 2018 to 2019. Hazel also holds additional certifications including a Diploma in Payroll Management from the Irish Payroll Association obtained in 2020, a Certificate in Advanced Payroll Techniques obtained in 2009, and they became a Certified Payroll Technician in 2008.
