Alejandra Pérez

Alejandra Perez is the Director of External Affairs at San Ysidro Health, where leadership in external relations integrates government affairs, communications, and strategic partnerships to enhance community health access. In addition to this role, Alejandra serves as an Instructor at both Metropolitan State University of Denver and the University of Denver, teaching courses related to social policy, social justice, and research methods. Previously, as Government Relations Manager at Metropolitan State University of Denver, significant achievements included securing $4.6 million in state funding. Alejandra has also contributed to the development of behavioral health toolkits as an Associate at San Diego State University and led public policy efforts as Director of Public Policy at Cultivando. Alejandra holds a Master’s of Social Work in Macro Practice - Leadership from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
