Dr. Uwe Westfal

Dr. Uwe Westfal is the Head of Solution Design & Pricing at DHL, a position held since 2007. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Project Management at Deutsche Post World Net from 1998 to 2006, and held the role of Head of Business Unit Logistics and Organisation at Scientific Consulting from 1991 to 1997. Dr. Westfal began their career as a Scientific Assistant and Project Manager at Universität Hannover from 1986 to 1991. They earned a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Expert Systems, Simulation, and Warehouse Planning, as well as a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management, both from Universität Hannover.
