Lars Pappe

Lars Pappe is an experienced professional currently serving as Vice President and Head of the Center of Excellence for Automation of Operation at DHL since January 2021, with a focus on automation, computer vision, and robotics in logistics. Prior to this role, Lars held multiple leadership positions at Deutsche Post und DHL from July 2008 to January 2021, including Vice President of eMobility Design & Development and Head of Department Company Cars, overseeing a fleet of approximately 8,500 vehicles across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Lars began a career in the Bundeswehr, serving as an officer and Company Commander of Armored Troops from July 1996 to June 2008, and providing consulting at the Training and Doctrine Command of the German Army. Lars holds a Diplom Kaufmann degree from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität/Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg and an MBA from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management.
