Sylvain Mbakop

Sylvain Mbakop is currently the Sub Regional CFO at DHL Global Forwarding, overseeing finance operations across Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, and the DRC. Previously, they served as the Country CFO for both DHL in Cameroon and Gabon, where they were integral in establishing business units and financial processes. Sylvain has an extensive background in accounting, having held positions such as Chief Accountant at DHL International and Senior Accountant at British American Tobacco. They hold a Master's degree in Accounting & Finance and a Master's degree in Business Management & Human Resources Development from the University of Yaoundé II and the Institut de Management Stratégique.
