Uwe Hess

Uwe Hess is currently the CIO of DHL Freight, where they manage Digital Services across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the U.S., leading the Digital Transformation program. Previously, Uwe held various leadership roles at DHL Freight GmbH, including Vice President of Processes and Vice President of Program Management, focusing on global IT product and project portfolio management. Uwe's earlier experience includes business consultancy at ABB Motors and Mechanical Inc. and Egyptian Iron & Steel Company, as well as leadership positions at IMS GmbH/appss GmbH, where they established a Business Process Management department. Uwe's expertise encompasses quality management, process optimization, and project management across multiple industries.
