Rumi Young is a Global Regulatory Policy Leader with expertise in combination products and digital health. Currently serving as the Advanced Therapies Chair at DIA and the Director of Regulatory Policy at Novo Nordisk, Rumi has a notable background as a former FDA regulator, where they established review expectations for drug delivery devices and combination products. Rumi's earlier experience includes roles as a Device Engineer at Genentech and an R&D Associate at MedImmune, where they focused on the development and regulatory compliance of medical devices. Rumi holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science & Engineering and Chemistry and Chemical Biology, respectively, from Cornell University.
