Jan Philipp Pade

Jan Philipp Pade has worked in various roles since 2008. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at the LEIBNIZ-INSTITUT FUR NEUROBIOLOGIE. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a PhD Student Researcher at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where they conducted research on dynamics and synchronization in networks and had a research stay in São Paulo. In 2015, they were a Postgraduate Researcher at the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - German Research Foundation, where they conducted research on networks with methods from Algebraic Graph Theory. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Lecturer at both the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin and the Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin (ehemals Technische Fachhochschule Berlin). From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where they lectured Python and Scientific Computing, wrote project reports and proposals for third-party funding, and conducted autonomous research in Complex Networks. Since 2019, they have also been working as a Freelance Data Scientist at Selbstständig. In 2020, they began working as a Junior Developer at DIA | Open-source financial data.

Jan Philipp Pade obtained their Diplom in Mathematik from Freie Universität Berlin between 2001 and 2007. Jan Philipp then went on to pursue a Doktor (Ph.D.) in Mathematik from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin between 2011 and 2014. In 2016, they obtained a Workshop Wissenschaftskommunikation from the Klaus Tschira Stiftung. Finally, in 2019, they obtained a Python Certified Associate Programmer from the Python Institute.
