Michael Yang

Michael Yang is an experienced professional in manufacturing and supply chain management, currently serving as the Global Manufacturing Excellence Director at Diageo since May 2023. Previously, Michael held various leadership roles at BAT from April 2013 to April 2023, including Global Head of Manufacturing Performance, where responsibilities encompassed managing manufacturing performance across over 50 factories worldwide, and Head of Manufacturing for the largest cigarette manufacturing site in the AsPAC region. Michael's early career included positions at Procter & Gamble from July 2002 to March 2013, where significant accomplishments involved managing the Greater China Feminine Care supply chain operation and leading process improvement initiatives across P&G plants. Educational qualifications include a degree in Business Leadership with a focus on AI and Machine Learning from Udacity and a Bachelor of Science in Information Engineering from Huang Zhong University of Science and Technology.
