Ryan Zurrer

Ryan Zurrer is the founder and managing director of Dialectic, a blockchain-focused venture capital firm. Ryan has over a decade of experience in the venture capital and cryptocurrency industries.

Ryan began their career as a blockchain specialist on the innovation team at Banco Original, a Brazilian bank. Ryan later became the president, director of finance, and administration at EólicasBR, a consortium between J&F Investments and Furnas. In this role, they were responsible for the financial planning and management of the company.

In 2016, Ryan joined Polychain Capital as a principal and venture partner. Polychain is a diversified portfolio of blockchain-based assets. Ryan left Polychain in 2018 to join the Web3 Foundation as director. The Web3 Foundation is a non-profit foundation that supports and promotes the development of Web 3.0 technologies. Ryan left the foundation in 2019 to start Dialectic.

Dialectic is a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage blockchain companies. The firm is based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Ryan Zurrer completed a HBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Ivey Business School at Western University. Ryan also has certification from EMD Serono, Inc. in WindPro Wind & Site Analysis - Level 1, Vestas in Service Technical Fundamentals, 120, and Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF) in PMP - Project Management Professional.
