Lydia Mathai is an accomplished product designer with extensive experience in user experience (UX) design. Currently, Lydia works at IBM as a Product Designer since February 2025, following a similar role at Dialexa, an IBM Company, starting in January 2023. Lydia gained valuable experience as a UX Designer at InovCares, focusing on enhancing a telehealth mobile app through user-centered design principles. Lydia's foundational training in UX design was honed during an immersive bootcamp at General Assembly, where multiple projects were completed in medical and e-commerce applications. Prior roles include serving as a Medical Scribe at ScribeAmerica, managing patient interactions, and fulfilling the position of Peer Mentor at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where academic guidance was provided to first-year students.
